Diversion of medication is a significant concern within forensic settings and can result in adverse health and behavioral outcomes. Medication administration protocols and practices are critical to reducing the risk for diversion and to effective and consistent response when diversion occurs. This webinar will discuss the procedures for mitigating diversion risk throughout the workflow. Details of practice for pre-administration, administration, post-administration and ongoing monitoring will be provided.

This interactive training is intended for team members participating in Expanding Access to MAT in County Criminal Justice Settings Learning Collaborative, including sheriffs’ staff, jail administrators, probation and other justice professionals, and healthcare providers in jails/other detention settings.
