Using Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to Monitor & Improve SUD Treatment in Jails Learning Community
Date & Time

Selected Sessions:

Oct 15, 2024 12:00 PM

Description
As a follow-up to the all-team quarterly learning collaborative session, HMA is offering Jail MAT teams an opportunity to join a learning community focused on continuous quality improvement (CQI) to improve their substance use disorders (SUD) and medication assisted treatment (MAT) programming. During these sessions, county team members will have an opportunity to discuss critical jail processes and procedures (e.g., improving time to treatment from assessment; reentry connections for detainees with SUD) and provide input on future session topics. County teams will also have an opportunity to receive ad hoc coaching support and consultation as requested. This learning community is intended for members of county-based CA teams working to expand access to MAT for persons with justice system involvement. MAT in Jails and Drug Courts is funded by DHCS with general state funds as a program in DHCS’ MAT Expansion Project. Facilitators: Marc Richman, PhD and Brittany Labarreare, MBA, RN Questions?
