I think it'd be great to get additional representation and leadership from the lived experience community

Thank you, Sarah. That is something we have also noted.
Scott Snow

Thank you!

we are working on and have reached out to identify two people with lived experience to join our committee
Hope Hyatt
51:26
I am happy to support with this process of identifying individuals with lived experience to join
Cheri Skelding
01:14:03
And so hard to be quick...I could talk about this amazing project all day long!!!
Cody Hickman
01:14:43
Any thoughts about reaching out to the advocacy community for persons with I/DD (The Arc, JFK Partners, Colorado DD Council), as well as cognitive needs (Mindsource) to ensure that particular needs are integrated/improved in this new system?
Elizabeth Richards-Beacon Health Options
01:15:00
Love that idea Cody!
Cheri Skelding
01:16:24
Yes Cody, those are excellent ideas. Where this group has started is identifying individuals that were "prescribed" by the current grant. However, work groups are definitely a place we want that input as well. We actually have 4 different invitations out to those with lived experience...
Sarah Brummett (she, her, hers)- CDPHE
01:18:30
In addition to Cody's recommendation, perhaps folks from the hard of hearing/deaf community?
Cody Hickman
01:19:53
Thanks Cheri! I know there are professionals within the advocacy communities that might have robust recommendations related to the technical side of things, as well as cultural competencies, and training ideas, in serving their respective populations.
Cody Hickman
01:20:06
Agreed Sarah!
Krista Cavataio
01:21:30
In terms of who is missing, have we considered other first responder representatives? Like law enforcement, community paramedics?
Cheri Skelding
01:22:24
Scott Snow, who had to drop off, is representing DPD and their Victim's Services and first responsders.
Sarah Brummett (she, her, hers)- CDPHE
01:25:46
I think it would be great for the planning committee to also think about infrastructure and resourcing to ensure livable wages are available and paid to the staff answering the call lines - both clinicians and peers
Chris Miller (He/Him/His)

01:30:58
I think that would be a great topic to bring to the Call Center and System Capacity and Integration workgroup
Kristy Jordan
01:31:02
Agree Sarah! And in addition to livable wages, I would suggest discussing the idea of offering behavioral health support for the staff. Whether that is through having strong benefits and offering good EAPs, or specific staff to support internally.
Chris Harms
01:35:34
How and when we going to assign work groups?
Chris Harms
01:36:03
Great - thanks!
